A glimpse into 2017: Jan & Feb
Before I printed off this last blog book ever, I included the beginning of this next year. :)
We brought the girls into our year-end review and New Year's goals for the first time. Special.

Here's our team, and here's my friend, Lauren, who I haven't seen in almost 6 years, because of their faithful service over there for all of these years. It's going to be a dream to minister with her and her family. Kinda like it was to get to see her in person last week, while they are home on Furlough.

***This is the reaction of a little girl when you tell her that her wish of going with Daddy on a business trip is happening in 2 days, and that she's flying with him to West Palm Beach, Florida!***
It was a 3:45 am wake-up call, but she was too excited to care! This was her first time to fly!
She LOVES to fly now! She loved the hotel bed all to herself, getting to watch Daddy rep SEBTS at the booth, attend church multiplication workshops with him, do some school work herself behind the booth, eat authentic Cuban food, go swimming at night, go to the beach...
...and drive down to Miami Beach at night to see the lights!!!
She told me that it was one of the most special times she's ever had with her Daddy in her whole life.
This quality time girl was beaming! Still is! What a great daddy.
We love when Nana comes to town, too!!! All of the grandparents!
This is the prettiest February we have ever had, and with the 70* temps for more than half the month, we have been outside for school and the Green Way more than ever before. Such grace.
When your family friends have a double tragedy in the family on the same day it's their daughter's 10th birthday, you go pick her up, throw on some party hats, order milkshakes before your meal, stay out extra late, and celebrate her big time!
